What does Ausbildung mean?
Ausbildung, means Vocational Training in English, combines classroom education with on-the-job training. It focuses on equipping trainees with practical, industry-specific skills while offering a formal education.
What is Duale Ausbildung?
Duale Ausbildung is a type of training where participants work part-time for a company while studying part-time at a vocational school. This dual model provides a balance of academic learning and professional experience, culminating in a recognized university degree and practical expertise.
How long does an Ausbildung last?
Typically, an Ausbildung lasts between three and four years, combining theoretical education and practical training.
Will I earn during Ausbildung, and how much?
Yes, you will receive a monthly stipend of €900 to €1,400, that ensures financial independence during the program.
What happens after completing Ausbildung?
After completing the program, you can either continue working for the same company or explore other career opportunities in Germany.
Can I get a PR (Permanent Residency) after Ausbildung?
Yes, you can apply for PR after completing Ausbildung and working in Germany for at least two years.
