It helps universities assess whether a student is academically suited for higher education in Germany. TestAS is not a knowledge test. Instead, it checks your ability to solve problems, think logically, and understand complex relationships—skills that are important for success in university studies in Germany. A minimum score of 100/200 is mandatory to join the URH FH Dortmund Pathway programme. You need to take the test in English.

The TestAS consists of two parts:

  1. Core Test (mandatory for everyone) : Assesses general academic skills like logical reasoning, text analysis, and pattern recognition - This section is the same for all students, regardless of their intended field of study.
  2. Subject-Specific Module : URH aspirants must take the Engineering Module.
