The B.Sc. Information Technology at Fachhochschule Dortmund combines the fields of computer science and electrical engineering. Robotics
Study intelligent and autonomous robots, including sensor and actuator systems, control engineering, perception, planning, localisation, mapping and navigation.

6 or 7 Semesters – Choose Your Study Path

The programme offers two study variants:

6 Semesters
Complete the Bachelor’s degree without an additional practical semester or semester abroad.

7 Semesters
Add a practical semester or semester abroad. Students can complete practical training in a company in Germany or abroad, or study at a university abroad.

Students can decide during their studies whether they want to complete the additional semester, subject to the programme regulations.
